Atari 2600 Jr

 

 

The Atari 2600 (released in 1977) is the godfather of modern videogame systems. Atari sold over thirty million of the consoles, and together with other companies sold hundreds of millions of games cartridges. In 1986 it was redesigned as the 2600 Jr (RRP £30.00) with “lunchbox packaging” but had the same hardware abilities (although a slightly slower CPU).
